The privilege of attending the Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Christian School is not limited to young people of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. Students who comply with the character and curriculum requirements, and who demonstrate an honest desire for a Christian education, are welcomed as students.
It is assumed that all students who apply are pledging themselves to obey the rules and standards as outlined in the handbook and as explained or modified in official school publications. Admission to Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Christian School is a privilege to those in harmony with its objectives, functions, and procedures. Admission may be withheld or withdrawn by the school at its discretion for those not in accordance with these policies. Any pupil may be expelled during the school year for the same reasons. No such action will be entered into without setting before the parents the problem in question and seeking to work out a satisfactory settlement first.
The Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Christian School does not discriminate against any applicants on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, or gender. Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School is not equipped to offer special remedial services to children with special needs (e.g. developmental and/or learning disabilities), and as such, may need to help direct you to another school that would be better equipped to meet your educational needs.
All admissions will be subject to final approval by the school board.
