“In the formation of character, no other influence counts as much as the influence of the home. The teacher’s work should be supplement to that of the parents, but is not to take its place.” Education, Ellen G. White, p. 283.
The Home and School Association seeks to draw parents and teachers together in the work of education. Parents are urged to actively support the Home and School by participating in school volunteer activities and regular attendance at Home and School functions. All participation in volunteer activities is at the teacher’s discretion and scheduling. Support of the school enhances its efforts to create a favorable relationship between the home and the school, improving both the home and the school for the benefit of the child.
Students are to dress appropriately for Home and School functions.
